Order data stays focused on order work.

Last updated July 6, 2026. POVerify processes merchant, product, buyer, and draft order data only to intake wholesale POs, validate line items, save evidence, and create Shopify draft orders.

Data collected

Shop domain, app session data, settings, product mapping aliases, buyer order text, draft order metadata, and support ticket details.

Data used for

Authentication, billing, PO extraction, confidence review, guardrails, draft order creation, troubleshooting, and support.

Data not sold

Merchant, buyer, order, and product data is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

Detailed policy

  • Shopify API access is limited to the scopes needed for app installation, billing, product matching, and draft order creation.
  • Purchase order text and product aliases are stored so merchants can review evidence and avoid repeating the same SKU mapping work.
  • Support requests are stored with the submitted email, subject, message, source, and related shop when provided.
  • App data is retained while the app is installed unless deletion is requested or required by Shopify platform events.
  • Merchants can request deletion or export help by contacting [email protected]. We respond within one business day.
